Shihan Sakataka
Shihan Sakataka is a 7th-degree black belt in World Oyama Karate. He trained directly under the legendary Karateka Soshu Shigeru Oyama as 'Uchi-Deshi' for 5 years at the Headquarters Dojo. In 1998, he was sent to Cliffside Park to spread the teachings of World Oyama Karate in his own Dojo. In the past over 20 years, Shihan Sakataka's reputation has drawn a wide variety of students for his teaching technique from children to adults from all over Bergen, Hudson, Essex Countes in NJ and as far as students from Rockland, Orange, Westchester and Putnam in NY.
